My hair hasn’t really grown since I did a mini chop and started looking after it better about two years ago. I am 99% sure it is because I have just been buying a bunch of natural hair care products, without paying attention to what my hair and scalp needs.
SheaButter Cottage
I& bought a bunch of natural goodies from *Shea Butter Cottage.
One of the things that I love about Shea Butter Cottage is the fact that each product will tell you what benefits it has. Which makes it really easy to shop around for the products I need. I specifically looked for the products that help to relieve dry, itchy and sensitive scalps. As well as products that promote strong and healthy hair growth.
I bought; Shea Butter (200g), Brahmi Powder, Pasuca: Authentic African Black Soap, Haitian Black Castor Oil, Hibiscus Oil, 2 Spray Bottles (250ml), and Akua the lovely owner of the Shea Butter Cottage slipped in a sample of her Eduase African Black Soap.
Shea butter is a must! Brahmi helps to relieve an itchy scalp and helps to prevent dandruff. Pasuca Black Soap contains aloe vera, papaya, sugar cane and shea butter so I thought this would be wicked for my face and body as it has pure aloe vera in it. Went with Haitian Black Castor Oil instead of just their Castor Oil because I though it would be closer to Jamaican Black Castor Oil. Castor oil is great for thicken and softening hair. Hibiscus Oil claims to be a good dandruff, hair and scalp treatment oil. I got two spray bottles because my other broke, and I wanted to use one for an oil mix, I was thinking spraying oil onto my hair and scalp might be better than using my hands or applicator bottle.
Beauty by Zara
I really wanted to try ElastaQP Soy Oyl Moisture-Rich products. I bought the Shampoo and Deep Conditioner from Beauty By Zara, but got the conditioner from Amazon as BeautybyZara no longer had it.
I am always looking to out for the cheaper products to see if they get the job done. These products are super affordable and I have previously tried some other ElastaQP products that didn’t really do much for me.

However I wanted to give it another chance, and decided to go with their Soy Oyl Moisture-Rich range, as my hair needs a hell of a lot of moisture.
When I saw the word ‘Soy’ I automatically thought of protein and it also claims to contain vitamins and omega 3&6. I really like the fact that these products are filled right to the top. I did a short instagram review that you can either view on Instagram here, or check out the photo below.😍
Antidote Street
I finally got my self a protective scarf for my head top. The one I wanted from My Luxe Beauty was sold out. I had a look on Antidote Street and their scarves were on offer for £15.99 (Originally £19.99).

I went for their Marte Egele Gatsby print. |
